A new study by sociologists at the University of Maryland concludes that unhappy people watch more TV, while people who describe themselves as very happy spend more time reading and socializing. That's not to say that watching tv will make you unhappy, although, you know, it may. The researchers say that TV may make you happier in the short term, but unhappy in the long run.
