Trisha Stratford NeuropsychotherapistSydney Neuropsychotherapist Trisha Stratford’s research on how our bodies and brains align when we’re in empathy with someone else has attracted a lot of interest on this site. Her PhD research at UTS involved wiring up therapists and their clients and seeing when they were in sync in physiology and with their brain waves.

In this 11 minute interview she explains what she did, and what she found. She also says that it’s when we quieten our inner voice and really listen to someone else without judgment that the alignment of two people takes place.

It’s a great tip for therapists, teachers and lovers. Hear the full interview on the player below.
