The Well Formed Outcome is the rather quaint title for a set of questions that separate realistic goals from fantasy. Use this technique to discover if what you want is something that you can reasonably get for yourself.

In this exercise we allow you to contemplate what you want, whether you have the appropriate resources or can get them, and the costs and consequences of your goal. We also include a future pacing exercise where we ask you to go forward in time and then look back at how you achieved what you did.

Find a comfortable spot and put the headphones on for this meditation. Don’t drive or operate heavy machinery as you listen. Give yourself your full attention for this process.
